Four-time FIFA World Cup champions Germany are amongst the world’s most undisputed footballing legends, with a wealth of accolades under their belts. Over 26,000 football clubs are registered nationwide. Their top-flight league with the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga are hotly anticipated, with over twenty teams.

Germany’s national team have a remarkable track record on the world stage, surpassed only by Brazil as the second most successful nation in the FIFA World Cup tournament. They took the title in 1954, 1974, 1990 and most recently 2014, and remain strong contenders. They’ve also won three UEFA European Championships. In the most recent World Cup Brazilian fans watched in anguish as the German side smashed the home team 7-1.

Women’s football in Germany also has a large following – and the team has an impressive resume with silverware to rival the men’s national squad. They have won two FIFA Women’s World Cups (most recently in 2007), and a record eight UEFA European Women’s Championships.

As is the case with many countries worldwide, the beautiful game has truly inspired and brought together the German population over the years. German and British soldiers in WW1 on the Western Front near Yves famously downed their weapons on Christmas Day in 1914 for a temporary truce marked by a peaceful kickabout.

Our Germany signed football team memorabilia spans the decades with extra-special items sourced directly from the teams and players themselves. Here you’ll find signed gloves, shirts, footballs and boots alongside mounted displays and autographed photographs celebrating the achievements of both the national team and some of the country’s most prolific players.
